The OptoLab facilitates the charaterization of optoelectronic devices from the near infrared (2200 nm) to the ultraviolet (350 nm). Its main purpose is to support device simulation by providing characterization techniques which are not standard in the optoelectronic industry. Its equipment is unique in the ETH and still not available in many industrial facilities. Amongst others the Optolab supports the characterization of
- Laser gain curves (Hakki-Paoli-Method)
- Relative Intensity Noise up to 26.5 GHz
- Farfield
- Dynamic characteristics (S11,S12,S21,S22) of semiconductor Lasers and Photodiodes up to 50GHz
OptoLab Reservation
